Bobby McFerrin solo & special guests

Born in 1950, Bobby McFerrin has long dazzled audiences by using his voice as an instrument and through his extraordinary gifts for improvisation. He emerged from the vocalese school established by Jon Hendricks.

In Vienna he’ll be appearing with WeBe3, a free-improvisational vocal trio which is an offshoot of McFerrin’s Voicestra. He’ll also be appearing with the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by violinist Tibor Kovac for an unconventional performance on the periphery of classical music.
