Denise De Macedo
Denise De Macedo, who has lived in Vienna since she was four years old, has made a name for herself with her temperamental interpretations of styles such as Samba, Reggae and Bossa Nova, as well as Funk and Latino-Soul.
Her orientation towards the music of Gilberto Gil can be convincingly heard on her album “Siento”, which was recorded in Sao Paolo and Salvador da Bahia. These songs which celebrate life can also be heard when Denise de Macedo takes the stage at the Vienna Jazz Fest.
