Nikki Yanofsky is Canada’s latest musical wonder. This Montreal-born singer is just 16 years old, but has already worked with producer Tommy LiPuma, composer Marvin Hamlisch, and even with the Count Basie Orchestra and Herbie Hancock. She was also invited to perform the song “I Believe” at the opening of this year’s Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Last year she released a the album “Ella… Of Thee I Sing”, which was a success with the public and critics alike. This young woman, who still attends school, can scat like a veteran. Widespread radio airplay and downloading helped catapult this wonderful album to the top of the Canadian charts. A fine start for taking on the world…
