Funk Off is a very elastic and agile Italian brass band which has previously opened for James Brown, Maceo Parker, and George Clinton. Led by saxophonist Dario Cecchini, these 15 musicians from Tuscany founded their group in 1998 and quickly established themselves on the festival circuit. With energetic albums such as “Funk Off/Jazz On” (released on Blue Note), these Italian artists quickly generated a large fan base.
