Without any question – the eminent Tenor-Sax artist Scott Hamilton (born 1954 in Rhode Island) is one of the greatest of the Mainstream-Giants who are preserving the true american-music for future generations.

In his younger years he performed with topstars like Benny Goodman, Roy Eldridge, Woody Herman und Gerry Mulligan, Rosemary Clooney, Flip Phillips, Warren Vaché, Red Norvo, Ruby Braff and the famous Newport- & Concord-All-Stars, nowadays he travels between Japan, the States and the Old World and performes with the best local musicians. In Vienna, at the Jazzland we hear him with JAZZKLUSIV (Markus Gaudriot p, Martin Spitzer g, Harry Putz b, Wolfgang Kendl dm).
