Stephan Micus solo

German composer and multi-intstrumentalist Stephan Micus first visited the Orient at the age of 16. Since then he has travelled the globe to study ancient musical instruments.

Japan, Ireland, India, China, Africa and South America… from his visits to these places Micus has created new life for old musical ideas with his performances on exotic and nearly-forgotten instruments. His albums combine old instruments with modern musical sensibility to create an exciting exploration of sound.
