Tomasz Stanko New York Quartet

Stanko divides his time between New York City and Warsaw. His recent release “Wislawa” was recorded with his New York quartet. This 70-year old veteran creates a great vibe with younger musicians such as the drummer Gerald Cleaver, pianist David Virelles abd bassist Thomas Morgan. Be it subtle lyricism or Cool Jazz, Stanko remains the epitome of emotional authenticity.
