Chilly Gonzales

This 43-year old native of Canada spent many years in Paris and now resides in Cologne. A gifted pianist who is also known for his sharp, sarcastic wit, his albums, “Solo Piano” and “Solo Piano 2” are legendary, a mix of music and conversations with himself.

Another highlight in his discography is 2008’s “Soft Power”, a monument to the soft rock era around 1978. His current album is “Chambers”. His performance with Hamburg’s Kaiser Quartet will no doubt be a cocktail of romance and contemporary pop attitudes.

line up:
Chilly Gonzales (Piano)
Martin Bentz, Adam Zolynski, Jansen Folkers, Ingmar Süberkrüb (Kaiser Quartett)
Joe Flory (Drums)

Plaza Francia

Plaza Francia combines the best of two worlds. Messrs. Makaroff and Müller from the world-famous Gotan Project join forces with Catherine Ringer, the singer from the legendary French avant-garde pop band Les Rita Mitsouko.

The new project is dedicated to the tango, including a new album called “A New Tango Song Book“, a passionate tour de force through melancholy passion, and undisguised sensuality.

line up:
Catherine Ringer (Lead Vocals)
Christoph H. Müller (Keyboards)
Eduardo Makaroff (Guitars, Vocals)
Facundo Torres (Bandoneon)
Romain Lecuyer (Double bass / Electric bass)
