Jacob Collier

21-year old Londoner Jacob Collier is considered by some to be a new jazz messiah. He sings like an angel and can beatbox like someone straight out of the ‘hood. He is also an ace on the keyboards and on vocals can sound like Singers Unlimited or the Swingle Singers.

Collier became known through videos he uploaded to YouTube. He was soon receiving feedback from Fiji to the Faroe Islands and drew the attention of such famous musicians as Herbie Hancock and Pat Metheny.

Jacob Collier made his professional stage debut in 2014 with Hancock and Jamie Cullum at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Now the Vienna Jazz Festival welcomes this teen wonder.
